The course is mainly aimed at young conductors and students with conducting experience. About twenty experienced singers are at the trainees’ disposal for two or three daily rehearsals. The programme consists of a cappella pieces from different periods and different styles. Training in conducting gesture takes place everyday.

The artistic director determines the new trainees’ admission to the course based on an examination of their registration file.

The conductors are expected to prepare themselves thoroughly enough to be able to work with the choir without the score.

The scores are sent to you upon your registration with compulsory deposit.

Course languages will be French, German, English and Spanish.

A concluding concert will take place in the evening of August 10th.

Accommodation in single and double bedrooms (with warm water), and three daily meals take place in the Guest House of the Monastery St. Trudpert. Showers and toilets are available on the floor.

The course will begin on Monday, August 2nd, at 6 p.m. (for dinner); the course will end on Wednesday, August 11th, after lunch.
